Advokátní kancelář Hartmann, Jelínek, Fráňa a partneři, s.r.o. was founded on 1 July 1990, originally as an association of attorneys-at-law. The original association without a legal personality was a place for joint exercise of the legal profession until 31 December 2010. The transformation into a limited liability company marked a milestone in the law office’s 20-year history when it re-emerged as a new and modern company.

The founding attorneys were JUDr. Milan Jelínek and JUDr. Jiří Hartmann. While JUDr. Milan Jelínek retired on 31 December 2019, JUDr. Jiří Hartmann continues to serve as the law office’s senior partner.

Founding partner JUDr. Josef Vych was an important figure in the history of the law office as an important and nationally recognised expert in the field of civil law and a member of the Civil Law Section of the Czech Bar Association. He worked at the office until 2000.

Current senior partner JUDr. Pavel Fráňa has also made a significant contribution to the law office. From the beginning, he has been actively involved in developing the office’s reputation, both in terms of its internal operation and maintaining its professional level.

JUDr. Jan Malý, who has also shaped its public image, is now part of the professional team of attorneys and serves as the law office’s third senior partner.

Naturally, a new, modern character of the transformed company rests on many more people than its founding partners. This is why many new faces are now joining the company’s staff: JUDr. Andrea Vejběrová, Ph.D. and JUDr. Ondřej Moravec, Ph.D., JUDr. Jiří Janeba, Mgr. Martin Koudele and JUDr. Michal Škudrna.

The firm’s new brand is being created with a significant contribution from the administrative and other support staff, which enables the lawyers to pursue their professional specialisations as members of permanent specialised teams and thus offer high-quality, fast and reliable legal services. That is what makes our law office an important player on the Czech legal market.
